Notre Dame's Cassandre Prosper drafted to Washington Mystics
Fighting Irish SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Notre Dame's Cassandre Prosper has been selected by the Washington Mystics with the No. 19 overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft.
Prosper joined Notre Dame in December 2022 and is coming off her best season to date. This year, Prosper started in all 36 of Notre Dame's games and was named the ACC's Most Improved Player. She also earned a spot on the All-ACC Second Team.
Prosper averaged 13.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.1 blocks per game, all career-highs. She shot 49.2 percent from the floor and 73.8 percent from the free throw line.
Over the course of her career, Prosper played in 97 games, making 43 starts. She averaged 8.7 points and 4.8 rebounds per game, finishing her Irish career with 842 total points and 465 total rebounds.
Cassandre Prosper is the third to be drafted by Mystics.
She is the fourth WNBA draft selection under Karen and Kevin Keyes Family Head Women's Basketball Coach Niele Ivey, joining Sonia Citron, Liatu King, and Maddy Westbeld.
