NWS: Indiana goes through driest June on record

INDIANA -- The National Weather Service said last month was the driest June on record for some parts of Indiana.

Numbers show both Evansville and Indianapolis got less than half as much rain as their previous records and Indy shattered its old record.

Its June rainfall total was just less than a 10th of an inch. The old record was 0.36 inches. That was set back in 1988.
