October jobs report due out Friday

Although Superstorm Sandy shut down federal offices for two day, the labor department said it still plans on getting the October jobs report out on Friday as planned.
This report could be crucial to the election. It's the last look at the health of the country's jobs market before all voters go to the polls.
The jobs report has only been delayed once and that was in January of 1996. That was because of a government shutdown over a budget deadlock.
As of last month, the national unemployment rate is 7.8 percent.
