CASS COUNTY, Mich. - The Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a crash involving an off-road vehicle on Saturday night.
The vehicle drove up an embankment before striking a tree and flipping on its side.
The incident occurred on the 16000 block of Donnell Lake Street, in Cass County's Penn Township.
One passenger was injured in the crash and was treated at South Bend Memorial Hospital before being transported to IU Hospital in Indianapolis. Two other passengers were treated on scene for minor injuries.
No update was provided on the condition of the driver. Officials say that none of the occupants were wearing seatbelts and alcohol does appear to be a factor in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
