Offender at Elkhart Co. Corrections facility dies

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- Elkhart County Community Corrections says an offender died after being transported to Goshen General Hospital on July 31, 2018.
An ambulance was called to the facility on Cottage Avenue the morning of July 31 for a medical emergency involving an offender.
The person was transported to Goshen General Hospital and pronounced dead that morning.
The incident is under investigation.
