The shooting happened at the American Legion Post 284 on Grant Road just after 11:30 p.m. Friday.

People at the American Legion and medics attempted CPR on the victim but were unsuccessful.
When officers arrived on scene, people inside the American Legion had pinned down the suspect. The suspect was taken to Metro Homicide for questioning.
