Severe threat over, for now
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Starting from Monday, June 24, the area on Olive Street between Western Avenue and the railroad crossing will be closed for utility work.
The road will be closed to through traffic and the detour route will be Western Avenue and Lincoln Way West via Chapin Street.
If weather permits, the expected reopening date will be Wednesday, July 3.
