On Friday, a two-vehicle crash in Cass County resulted in personal injuries

CASS COUNTY, Ind.--According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash on M217 near Wayne Street Friday night.

At approximately 11:20 p.m. 57-year-old Dale Shrock was allegedly traveling northbound on M217 when a second vehicle collided with his.

Reportedly, the driver of the second vehicle left the scene of the crash before authorities arrived.

Shrock suffered injuries as a result of the crash and was transported to Elkhart General Hospital.

He was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident and authorities state alcohol and drugs were not a factor.

Assisting in the crash were SEPSA and Porter Fire Department.

This is an ongoing investigation.
