One airlifted from crash scene near Dowagiac

SILVER CREEK TOWNSHIP, Mich. – One person was airlifted to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo from the scene of a serious crash on M-62 Wednesday evening.
The crash between California Road and Pokagon Street happened at approximately 5:42 p.m.
Officials say two vehicles were involved, leaving one person seriously injured and another person with minor injuries.
The at-fault vehicle appeared to have crossed the center line, causing the collision.
The road in that area will be closed as crews clear the scene.
