One dead in shooting on Marion, Taylor streets in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - One man is dead after a shooting near Marion and Taylor streets in South Bend Tuesday afternoon, according to the South Bend Police Department.

Police identified the victim as 24-year-old Matthew Wiley of South Bend.

Officers were called out to the scene just before 5 p.m. for the incident.

When they arrived, they found Wiley suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

He died from his injuries at the hospital.
