ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- One person has died after being struck by a motorcycle in Elkhart County on Saturday.
Authorities say the driver of a 2003 Harley Davidson was driving north at 5:53 p.m. on C.R. 13, north of C.R. 32, when a pedestrian entered the north bound lane directly in front of the vehicle.
He was then struck by the motorcycle, suffering life-threatening injuries.
The victim was flown to South Bend Memorial Hospital where he later died at the hospital. He was identified as Ray Wenger, a 64-year-old man from Goshen.
The driver of the motorcycle was transported to Elkhart General Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
