ELKHART, Ind. - UPDATE: Authorities identified the shooting victim as 50-year-old David Strowder Sr.
ORIGINAL STORY: Elkhart Police Officers responded to a reported shooting with injuries in the 2400 block of Morton Avenue.
The 911 call came in around 7:25 p.m. Thursday.
The Elkhart County Homicide Unit is investigating.
No arrests have been made at this time and the initial investigation indicates the shooting was an isolated incident.
Officials say there's no immediate danger to the public.
