CASS COUNTY, Mich. - - Cass County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a report of shots fired around 8 p.m. Tuesday night in the 18000 block of State Line Rd near Edwardsburg.
When deputies arrived, they found one 33-year-old male at the scene and took him into custody without incident. Preliminary investigation found that the incident took place as a result of a dispute between multiple people in the area.
No one was injured during this incident and the suspect was transported to the Cass County jail. The Sheriff's Department is withholding the name of the accused suspect until arraignment.
The incident remains under investigation.
