One man in custody after taking police on pursuit

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Police have a male suspect in custody after a vehicle and foot pursuit.
According to St. Joseph County Dispatch, officers attempted to pull over the individual at 7:16 p.m. on Thursday.
The driver continued to drive, leading the police on a pursuit.
The suspect eventually stopped and fled from his vehicle near Western Avenue and Walnut Street.
South Bend Police have the suspect in custody.
