One more dry day

Calm conditions continue today, with slightly warmer temperatures, some of Michiana could creep into the 70s. Clouds gather through the day, all in front of the rain we are expecting tomorrow. Tomorrow, most of Michiana will be waking up to showers, maybe a rumble of thunder or two, with a round of rain through the morning hours, and then one a little closer to the evening commute. These showers are going to be widespread and likely heavy at times, with accumulations totals through the next week likely reaching close to an inch. Rain continues into Wednesday but will likely be more scattered and lighter than Tuesday. Cool temperatures are expected in the middle of the week, highs likely in the high 50s for some days, before a warming trend into the holiday weekend. Saturday and Sunday look pleasant, hopefully rising back into the 70s, though there are slight rain chances for Memorial Day itself.

Today: Milder, gathering clouds. High 68.
Tonight: Cloudy, some rain closer to sunrise. Low 47.
Tuesday: Rain through the day, some storms in the afternoon. High 59.
Wednesday: Lingering showers. High 60.
