One person injured in crash in Lagrange Township

CASS COUNTY, Mich. – One person was injured in a crash in Lagrange Township Thursday morning, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office reported.

At 10:15 a.m., deputies were called to the area of Dailey Road and Mathews Street for a personal injury crash.

A vehicle was traveling northbound on Dailey Road when another vehicle, driven by a 71-year-old woman, allegedly disregarded the stop sign on Mathews Street, causing a collision, deputies reported.

The 71-year-old woman was taken to the hospital for her injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle, along with two juveniles in that other vehicle, were treated and released at the scene.

Seatbelts were worn and alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash, deputies said.
