One person injured in crash on Cassopolis Road

CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- A driver struck a disabled vehicle on Cassopolis Road early Wednesday morning, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

A driver was attempting to do a U-turn on Cassopolis Road when his vehicle got stuck on the roadway.

He was out of his vehicle trying to get it unstuck when a northbound vehicle struck the parked vehicle, reports said.

The driver of the second vehicle suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
