One person injured in personal watercraft accident on Eagle Lake
VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. -- One person was injured Tuesday afternoon when two personal watercraft collided on Eagle Lake.
The crash happened around 2 p.m. on Eagle Lake in Paw Paw Township.
According to the Van Buren County Sheriff's Office, two PWC operators were traveling around the lake together when one drove into the path of the other.
Both operators were thrown from their PWC.
One of the operators, a 53-year-old male from Kalamazoo, was face down in the water after the crash.
The other operator, a 31-year-old female from Canfield, Ohio, swam to him and performed rescue breaths on the man.
She successfully revived the man and he was taken to shore.
The man was transported to Bronson Methodist Hospital by Van Buren Emergency Medical Services and treated for facial cuts and broken bones.
