One person injured in shooting in Mishawaka

Mishawaka Police investigated a shooting in the 500 block of Grand Boulevard near Milburn Boulevard in Mishawaka.

The call came in at 4:21 p.m. Sunday, police said.

Officers arrived on the scene and found one victim with gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to the hospital.

A second person is being questioned.

According to Chief of Police Ken Witkowski the victim and suspect both knew each other and had a confrontation.
