A big change this weekend
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- One person was injured in a shooting in South Bend Thursday afternoon, according to St. Joseph County dispatch.
Dispatch received reports of shots fired near the intersection of Humboldt and Elmer around 1:35 p.m.
They said a victim showed up at the hospital a short time later.
The victim is in serious condition and has been taken into surgery.
The intersection of Humboldt and Elmer is blocked off to traffic with crime scene tape. Drivers should avoid the area.
