UPDATE: Victim identified in shooting at Prosper Apartments

ST JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- UPDATE: The South Bend Police Department has identified the victim of Sunday morning’s homicide at Prosper Apartments as 20-year-old Robert Jeffries, of South Bend.

The shooting remains an active investigation by the South Bend Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit.

ORIGINAL STORY: The South Bend Police Department is currently investigating a shooting at Prosper Apartments, with multiple victims. 

South Bend Police were called to the 200 block of Rue Flambeau for this shooting, just before 1:00 a.m., on June 30. 

Three people were transported to the hospital for injuries, but one of the three has died from his injuries. 

The South Bend Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit is still actively investigating this shooting.
