One person killed on US20 near CR17 in Elkhart

One person was killed on US20 in Elkhart County, just west of CR17, Monday afternoon.
The Elkhart County Sheriff's Department says one person died in the crash involving two semis.
One of the semis was carrying pigs and some of them were ejected and killed in the crash.
Traffic in the westbound lanes was at a standstill for a couple hours while the accident was investigated and cleaned up.
