One person shot in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Dispatch confirmed they received a call at 9:52 p.m. on Wednesday for one person being shot near the intersection of Obrien Street and Elwood Avenue.
One person was shot in a car and is in serious condition, police say.
The status of the suspect is currently unknown.
Police are at the scene investigating, dispatch says.
