One person taken to hospital after crash in Berrien County
BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – One person is in serious condition after a motorcycle crash in Berrien County Tuesday afternoon.
According to a press release by the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department, a white Dodge pickup truck was traveling south bound on S 11th St and was making a left hand turn when a Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling north bound on S 11th St in the right lane.
The driver of the pickup truck made a left hand turn in front of the motorcycle causing the collision.
The driver of the motorcycle was transported to Memorial Hospital in Indiana for serious possible life threatening injuries. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
Alcohol or drugs do not appear to be a factor in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the Berrien County Accident Investigation Team.
