One person with serious injuries after Elkhart shooting
ELKHART, Ind. – One man is suffering from life-threatening injuries after a shooting in the 300 block of Gross Street Thursday afternoon, the Elkhart Police Department reported.
Police were called to the area at 12:09 p.m. for reports of a shooting with injuries.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a 34-year-old man with a gunshot wound, reports said.
The man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Officers secured the scene and called in detectives. There is no immediate threat to public safety, police said.
No arrests have been made at this time.
