One shot at Maple Tree Apartments Wednesday morning

ABC 57 LA PORTE, Ind. -- The La Porte Police Department reports officers responded to Maple Tree Apartments around 1:10 a.m., Wednesday, for reports of a person being shot.
La Porte SWAT was activated on the scene of the shooting, and the suspect was taken into custody.
This was an isolated incident; there is no threat to the public.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
LPPD is still investigating the incident and will release more detailed information as it becomes available.
