Operation Quiet Comfort honors military with celebration dinner and auction

PLYMOUTH, Ind. -- The nonprofit organization, Operation: Quiet Comfort, will be holding a fundraising event at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Thursday.

The event begins at 5 p.m. and features dinner and dessert, an update on the program’s recent efforts, and a subsequent auction.

Operation: Quiet Comfort supports U.S. troops abroad by shipping them everything from basic hygiene supplies to care packages in a timely manner. Managed by a board of trustees, it is composed solely of volunteers with 95% of funds raised going towards their operations.

The Knights of Columbus Hall is located at 650 Columbus Drive between Martin’s grocery store and Oliver Ford. Signs will be posted to help locate the event.

Tickets are $45 per person with an option to reserve a table of eight for $360.
