O'Rourke's Pub to open at 8 a.m. for Notre Dame game

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- If you want to get in on the action this weekend with Notre Dame football, there is no deed to fly across the pond.

Several South Bend restaurants and bars will open early Saturday morning for the 9 a.m. kick off of the Notre Dame-Navy game in Ireland.

O'Rourke's Pub in Eddy Street Commons said that staff is already preparing for a big crowd.

"You know with it being so early, we're not used to having an early crowd, so it's pretty much a guessing game on how big of a crowd we'll get. But we're prepared to have a full house," said O'Rourke's General Manager, Shelly Freitag.

O'Rourke's will open at 8 a.m. Saturday.

Those up early for the game can enjoy a special breakfast buffet.
