Osceola barn destroyed by fire

Firefighters responded to a barn fire in the 11000 block of Edison Road in Osceola Monday afternoon just before 3:30 p.m.

Penn Township firefighters said the fire caused $10,000 in damage to the barn.

According to firefighters on scene, the owner said he was trying to smoke a gopher when the barn caught fire.

The barn is a total loss.
