IN cuts public media funding, PBS Michiana loses 10% of its budget
MISHAWAKA, Ind. – The Mishawaka location of Outpost Sports announced its official closing and began final sales on Thursday.
The owner, J.V. Peacock announced this winter would be the last season of business for his location.
After nearly 50 years of business, customers lined up Thursday morning for the first day of the closeout sales.
With both him and his wife heading for retirement, Peacock said he does not regret closing down the store commenting, “We are going out on top, that’s what we’re proud of.”
The other equipment and rental stores across Michiana will remain open, while the Mishawaka location will close for good once the inventory there is sold.
