Over 100 animals seized from residence in Edwardsburg

EDWARDSBURG, Mich. – On October 8, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant on a home at the 24000 block of May St. in Edwardsburg on suspicion of animal cruelty. They seized over 100 animals from the property.

The animals were found in varying states of health and they were living in deplorable conditions.

The name of the suspect is not being released at this time pending arrest and arraignment.

The animals that were seized include dogs, horses, turkeys, goats, chickens, geese, ducks, a cat and a miniature pony
