Over 12,000 power outages reported in Michiana

According to the Indiana Michigan Power Outage Map, 12,731 customer power outages have been reported on their website as of 9:43 p.m. on Saturday.

One report shows communities in South Bend near Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and Edison Middle School are experiencing 1,330 customer outages.

These outages were reported at 7:57 p.m. Saturday and have an estimated restoration time of 12:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Another report shows communities east of Springfield, near the intersection of Fail Road and US 20 in La Porte County, are experiencing 891 customer outages. 

These outages were reported at 7:41 p.m. Saturday and have an estimated restoration time of 12:30 a.m. on Sunday.

The most customer outages have been reported in the South Bend area with 5,450 and the Buchanan area with 3,411.
