Parisi's restaurant removed, replaced with Parisi Condominiums

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Parisi's family-owned Italian restaurant on South Bend Avenue just off campus at Notre Dame has been removed, now being replaced by upscale condominiums.

The project broke ground on September 3 and will include 38 condos, 14 of which have already been reserved.

"It's exciting to see the growth in our city. The Parisi's restaurant was around for as long as I can remember, about four and a half decades ago, and that's how old I am. So, it's great to see a legacy family here in South Bend, a South Bend family committing to further growth. It's really the initial investment four and a half decades ago was belief in the city, at a time when not a lot of people believed in the city. But now you see more and more people believing in the city and investing in the city, and we're seeing tremendous growth. So, it's exciting to see them take that to the next level here with this project, the Parisi." says Mayor James Mueller.

The Parisi Condos are expected to be completed by summer 2027.
