‘Park in the Dark’ at Cobus Creek this Friday

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – Elkhart County Parks is hosting a free nighttime hiking program at Cobus Creek this Friday from 10 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

During the program, participants will take a nighttime hike in Cobus Creek County Park and learn how our senses work bodies adapt to different environmental conditions.

Guests will participate in activities that include exercises to better understand our senses, the illusion of the disappearing head, and listening to night sounds throughout the hike.

All ages are invited to the hike.

Participants are required to wear a face covering and practice social distancing during the program.

Cobus Creek County Park is located at 30680 C.R. 8 in Elkhart.
