ParTee for Make a Wish

GRANGER, Ind. -- It's not every day you meet a kid like Hayes.

He suffers from a very rare genetic order that causes him to have a lot of seizures.

But none of that mattered Sunday, as Hayes spent the day celebrating golf.

Just last month he took a trip to Disney World with the Make a Wish Foundation and met Arnold Palmer, Johnny Damon, and of course Mickey Mouse.

A small group from Saint Mary's put on the event.

"It's fabulous, the Notre Dame golf team has been absolutely wonderful. We practiced with them two or three times," explains Dennis Purdy, Hayes' father. "He just take it in spirit and goes on.  You wouldn't know there's anything wrong with him."
