Passenger arrested on drug charges after traffic stop

A passenger in a vehicle stopped by a deputy with the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department was arrested on drug charges.
A deputy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the area of Nappanee Street and Lexington Avenue at 11:14 p.m. Monday.
Deputies say a pipe containing marijuana residue was located inside the door panel during a search of the vehicle.
Methamphetamine was also located in the vehicle.
The passenger, 27-year-old Anthony Martin, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
