Past, present, and future for the South Bend Cubs on opening day

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- With the South Bend Cubs playing their home opener tonight, ABC57 had the opportunity to speak Andrew Berlin, the owner of the South Bend Cubs and former South Bend Mayor Roger Parent, the mayor who oversaw bringing Minor League Baseball to South Bend.

There was the opportunity to speak about the history of bringing baseball to South Bend, making sure that it stayed in the city, and the plan to grow baseball in the city with more renovations to the stadium to enrich the experience at the park.
