Pat Hackett wins Democratic primary for Indiana’s 2nd Congressional District seat

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.-- Pat Hackett on Tuesday won the Democratic primary for Indiana's 2nd Congressional District seat, according to the Associated Press.

Hackett, a teacher and lawyer in northern Indiana, beat Ellen Marks in the primary.

The congressional seat is currently held by Republican Jackie Walorski, who won the Republican primary on Tuesday. 

Hackett will run against Walorski in the November election to represent Indiana's 2nd District in the U.S. House of Representatives.
