St. Joseph County Police Department SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- While working on several slide-offs on US 31, a St. Joseph County Police officer was seated in his patrol vehicle when another vehicle crashed into him.
The officer was transported to the hospital with non-threatening injuries, and further updates will be posted on his condition as soon as there is more information.
The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
US 31 is now back open and INDOT has plow trucks treating the area.
