Peacock goes wild

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A South Bend neighborhood is hoping its newest will go home.
A peacock has taken up residence in different front yards in an area off Portage and Adams Roads.
An animal rescue specialist who lives there says the bird was too big to catch and take to a shelter.
Peacocks are not native to this region, but people do try to keep them as pets.
