Pedestrian dies after being hit by vehicle in Benton Harbor

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- Authorities confirm that a 21-year-old man was hit and killed by a vehicle while walking outside the Napier Baptist Church in St. Joseph Charter Township.
The accident happened shortly after 8:00 p.m. on W. Napier Avenue right in front of the church.
According to officials the incident is currently under investigation and the driver is cooperating with officials.
