Pedestrian killed after being hit by vehicle in Cass County

UNION, Mich. - Police are investigating after someone was hit and killed by a vehicle along U.S. 12 in Cass County.
According to emergency dispatchers, it happened just after 7 a.m. Thursday in Union, at the corner of U.S. 12 and Union Road.
As of 10 a.m. U.S. 12 reopened in both directions. It had been closed while officials were on scene.
Right now, investigators haven't given the name or the person killed, or said how the crash happened.
