Pedestrian killed by Amtrak train in Three Oaks

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. - One person is dead after a Amtrak train hit them on Sunday around 6:55 pm, according to the Three Oaks Police Department.
The accident took place on the corner of S Elm Street and W Central Avenue. The rail is a high-speed rail, with trains traveling up to 110 mph.
The victim's name is being withheld until family is notified. Police are still investigating at this time. Additional information will be released at a later time,
