Penn cheerleaders fill in for Irish squad

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- Fans may have noticed a special group cheering on the men Monday night at Purcell Pavilion.
The Notre Dame cheerleaders are on vacation, so Penn High's squad filled in.
“You get the fun college atmosphere and it’s not something that a high school student like me gets,” said sophomore Haley Stesiak. “Being a cheerleader and experiencing this is such an awesome opportunity and I am so glad to be here.”
Even though they're used to cheering on the Kingsmen, the cheerleaders definitely had Irish spirit and helped the Irish with a win.
