Penn State accreditation in danger following scandal

Penn State's federal and state funding could be in jeopardy.

The university faces yet another repercussion from the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal and could lose its accreditation.

The Middle States Commission on Higher Education put the school on warning status August 6.

The accreditation group made the move after reading about Penn State's mishandling of the sex abuse allegations.
