Person killed in moped crash Tuesday morning identified

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- One person was killed in an early morning accident near the intersection of Ironwood and Ewing in South Bend.
The accident happened near the 3700 block of South Ironwood around 3 a.m.
When police arrived, they found 32-year-old Michael Eugene Faunce Jr unresponsive next to his moped.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
