Suspect caught in Elkhart County surveillance photos

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department caught the suspect seen in surveillance photos.

According to the ECSD, the subjects and vehicles depicted in surveillance footage were sought for questioning.

On Monday, Elkhart officers attempted to stop a motorcyclist when the operator fled – the motorcycle is seen in the photographs.

Officers attempted to pursue but were called off due to safety concerns.

The suspect has been identified as 24-year-old Nicholas Renbarger of South Bend, Indiana.

Renbarger is incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail.
