Pink Moon

 The Full Moon of April is known as the Pink Moon.  

This moon gets its nickname from an herb.  It is called pink moss (also known as wild ground phlox) and is one of the first flowers in bloom each spring.  Since the wildflowers are pink, the moon is so named.
