Plane makes safe landing in South Bend after engine issues

SOUTH BEND, Ind. --- A plane has made a safe landing at South Bend International Airport after suffering engine issues, St. Joseph County Emergency Management officials said.

62 passengers were on board the plane, according to officials.

The plane was visible at the airport around 8:12 p.m., officials confirmed.

It was a United Express flight operated by Air Wisconsin, airport officials confirmed.
