Although starting off chilly, the final day of October should be pleasant for Halloween festivities. Temperatures this morning are in the upper 20s. Wear plenty of layers, and give yourself extra time to scrape any frost off your windshield before driving early. Temperatures warm quickly to the 40s by noon, then continue to warm to the mid 50s this afternoon. There is plenty of sunshine today.

For Trick-or-Treating this evening, it should be dry with temperatures falling into the low 50s or upper 40s. A few extra layers in your Halloween costume, or wearing a coat over your costume, is probably the way to go. It will start to get breezy tonight ahead of Sunday's cold front.

Overnight temperatures fall into the upper 30s with rain showers likely after midnight. Sunday is going to be very windy with some afternoon wind gusts 40+ mph possible. Temperatures hold steady in the upper 30s throughout the day. Because of the cool temperatures, there is a possibility any afternoon/evening precipitation will turn to a wintry mix or a few snowflakes.

Weather is calmer heading into the work week. Monday’s high is in the upper 40s, then Tuesday through next weekend temperatures warm into the 60s. Enjoy dry weather and plenty of sunshine along with these warmer temperatures.

Today: Mostly sunny. High 54.

Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy. Windy. Chance for showers late. Low 38.
